We Believe…
in God,
the Creator and sustainer of the earth, the world, the universe, and all life.
in the Bible,
our only source of true knowledge about God and His plan for His creation and for the salvation of our race.
in Jesus Christ,
the Son of God, our Savior, our Intercessor, our Perfect Example, our Judge, and our Coming King. He was conceived of the Holy Spirit and born of a virgin, grew to manhood in Nazareth, at the age of 30 began a ministry of teaching, preaching and healing. Three years later He was crucified, resurrected, taken to heaven and crowned with immortal glory. He is now at the right hand of the Father, waiting for the Day when He will return to be Earth's king.
in the Holy Spirit,
special power from God by which people receive special knowledge direct from God or are given superhuman abilities (i.e., the ability to heal, or restore the dead to life), confirming that they are authorized by God.
in life,
as the gift of God, and in our sacred responsibility to use it for His work, His glory and His coming Kingdom.
in the human race,
as the raw material from which God will select those who will inherit a place in His soon-coming Kingdom.
in our sacred duty,
with the help of God to apply to our lives the principles taught in the Bible, in this way perfecting that high quality of moral character which God has promised to reward with life eternal in His heavenly Kingdom on earth.
that Jesus Christ is coming soon,
to rid the earth of all sin and suffering and inaugurate a worldwide and eternal kingdom of peace and righteousness, to fulfill the promise of the Lord's Prayer, "Thy kingdom come, Thy will be done on earth as it is in heaven."
